I've tried it. It's a very good, very solid map. You get an intimate understanding of choke points as you play, due to the very well designed asteroid ranges and it manages to achieve something few maps manage- you feel worried, or scared, that the enemy might actually overrun you, thanks to the well tweaked AI. Actually due to the AI. Not due to something cheap like a mass of super seedlings, or almost overwhelming numbers- the numbers are very much not overwhelming, and you know that if you play it just right, you can beat them. Due to actual tactical skill from the enemy. It's cool.
Only one map before has actually managed that for me, Infinity, with the comets of doom and 700 seedlings while you're trying to build your economy.
I also beat the 100 version. That was very intense. There was one point where there were 150 seedlings on the left destroying one of my planets and 150 seedlings on the right doing likewise, me having 200 seedlings at most desperately trying to hold together an almost broken empire. It was very close, and cool. I might try it again with only 50 seedlings.
