The game breaks if i use the button "Check for a new version of Dyson" and then click the "OK"-Button in the Dialog which is opened

It worked on my computer when i had Windows XP but now with Windows Vista Home Premium the game breaks (v1.10)

Are you using the Windows default firewall? Because if you are you may have to go in and give Dyson custom permissions to access the internet. I am going to go with that as my first guess.

If Dyson needs permissions, you should get a UAC window asking you if you'd like to continue, but my experience with apps that need internet access is that Vista will generally allow it by default.

What message do you get when Dyson crashes?

This is the error message you get from clicking OK on Dyson's version window

You use Outlook? :O

Well, for whatever reason, your PC considers that an invalid operation - might have something to do with the version of the .net framework you have installed.

Google for ".NET Framework" and update yours. That might solve the problem.

You use iTunes? Man, the more you show us, the more we cringe :P

Well, .NET 2.0 should run Dyson just fine. It could really be any multitude of reasons. I guess you'll just have to keep your eye on Dyson's news section to stay updated :)

I can't remember if we fixed the permissions yet in 1.10. It should work okay when we release 1.11 in a few days. Hold on to your hats!
