First, I know virtually nothing about graphic cards, adapters, drivers, etc.
Checking under my display adapters, I get two things:
Mobile Intel(R) HD Graphics
Radeon (TM) HD 6770M
(Yes, Laptop)
I've heard issues with both, but don't actually know which is the problem or how to even start to go about fixing this. Catalyst updates the drivers automatically apparently so that's a dead end. the only thing I've heard of is AMD/ATI not supporting openGL very well, and that upgrading the graphics card fixes this downright in most situations, but that goes back to the previously mentioned statement.
