Please try installing the visual studio redistributable included with the installation - it should be in the game directory. vcredistx86

Oh. And have you definitely got .NET 2.0 installed? You should do if you have XP SP2... so I doubt that is the issue...

i have these 3 installed. .NET Framework 2.0 SP2, 3.0 SP2, 3.5 SP1

You may have a registry problem. I don't now how to fix them, but they have caused similar problems for me in the past.

I have a similar error sometimes, also in Windows XP.
For me, it turned out to be my funky sound card causing the problem. Specifically, I have an Onyx 400F audio interface, and the low latency was causing issues with Eufloria's sound that caused the game to crash.
Do you have an unusual sound card? If you go to Device Manager and disable the sound device, will Eufloria load?
