Specific Instructions for using the Flower

Can someone please walk me through exactly how I'm supposed to click to use the flower? I somehow messed up on lvl10, sent it to an enemy asteroid, and it was destroyed. I never got another one on the level

Well, you did it exactly like it's supposed to be done. Left-Click and drag to send it somewhere. The flower's sole purpose is to orbit an asteroid and shoot everything that is not you.

Flowers can be used on any asteroid you own, and are planted with buttons on the menu bar. They either are planted to enhance a dyson or a defensive tree. It is in the manual!

The game says the manual has spoilers! I didn't read it. Thanks for the tip on the menu bar, that's what I missed. Thanks, I'm really enjoying the game!

Schaulustiger you are right it does!

Spool, indeed that is true, but it is ok to peek if something is unclear I think.
There is description ingame, but it is easy to click past it!

err... how so? a flower has a round head. a laser mine is a six-pointed star. theyre not more alike than flowers and seedlings (imho )

The manual is kind of hard to interpret, because before level 15 you can only enhance Defense Trees. So when I read it and didn't have a Defense Tree nearby, trying to plant on Dyson Trees doesn't work.

I think this is a failing in the tutorial.  I did the same thing with the flowers and sending them off.  I ended up having to read the manual, which I was reluctant to do with the spoiler warning.  It really should be made more clear in the tutorial that they need to be planted, and then one waits for the similar but different laser mine to grow.
