The Prisoners
The Prisoners need your help. Can you battle your way to the Prison and escort them to safety? Undertake a challenge unlike any you've experienced in Eufloria before. Play The Prisoners!
Features:
Unique Game-Type
Mutant AI (customized for this map only)
Configurable features including Chart Stats, Asterstats, Difficulty levels, and color variations.
Post-game Demo mode featuring Merchant AI
Difficulty Level? Superior tactics are necessary for victory. Difficulty largely dependent on your ability to learn and act strategically rather than with brute force. Choice of 4 levels.
Notes:
I've played-tested this map extensively but it is impossible to cover every scenario for bug-discovery. If you encounter a problem or error please let me know so I can address it. I also tried to make this challenge difficult but also fairly easy once you have figured out an effective strategy. If you would like to share your strategy for success to help others please do so in this forum thread.
As always, if you have any suggestions for improvement or identify any errors please let me know.

Koss- you are the first to try it out. Let me know what you think. I can easily make it harder or easier if necessary but it is difficult to know until someone actually plays with it besides myself. I wanted to make it at least a little challenging for all level of players.

Now there is absolutely no time to play. Could play only two times. Win so far failed. Once captured prison planet and found that it can not be done :)
While I can not say how difficult it is to play, should try again. Anyway very interesting to play.

Play it today on difficult level1. Long battle & I can take all asteroid & escort prisoners to safe house. Very clever AI, thank your. Will try to pass on level2.

Excellent! I'm glad you are enjoying it. You will have to use different tactics at the higher levels.
I'm working on something else right now that I think Eufloria fans will enjoy also.

Hello! Thank you 4 this lever, i had a lot of pleasure while playing this level. I won in level 1, level 2, level 3. Great! May be it will be a little better if players could not be possible to chahge dificulty during the game. But anyway, the level is Great, Thank you! Go on an give us new one. =)

You're welcome, Diamond! It's nice to hear when your hard work is appreciated. Yes, I debated whether or not to allow the player to change the difficulty level once a game has started since that could be interpreted as "cheating"; but in the end, the goal is really to give the player as much value for their time as possible. If their choice is to win a level by "cheating" and lowering the difficulty during the game, they are only depriving themselves the pleasure of overcoming a challenge. If that makes them happy, so be it, as that is the purpose of the game in the first place.
Let me know if you can complete the mission on the "Super" level. It is possible BUT you will have to use your wits to be successful!

Yes, a new mod and a good one at that. I was able to beat it in super after a few tries but it's really hardcore.
The entry points for reinforcements are really neat and bring new mechanics to the game.
It could lead to a lot of other scenarios.
I never dared liberating the prisoners before completely erasing the mutants though, so it wasn't really a quest to protect them. Maybe I miss some of the fun ?

Jazz Ad, I'm quite surprised you were able to eliminate the Mutants on the "Super" level. That is something I wouldn't have thought possible. Did you play the whole game on that level from the start or did you increase the difficulty level during the game? However you did it- I'm glad you enjoyed it!

I defended my spawning point my sending seedlings to the 3 asteroids surrounding it.
On I thought I had enough, I forced my way to the HQ and kept sending as many as I could there.
when done, it was only a matter of curing the infection, which took a loooong time.
