How did you beat it? I rushed through the rest of the game like a breeze (and enjoyed every minute of it), but that last mission from the story mode drives me nuts. I can expand fairly quick but need some time for that. Meanwhile, those grey dudes (that are btw nearly invisible on the dark background) gather so many strong seedlings that I cannot beat them on any of their planets. My armies just collapse the moment they arrive, even with three or four times the size of the grey army.
Am I missing something very obvious here or is it really that hard? And how did you finish it? Just amassing thousands of rhather mediocre seedlings?
