Instant kills in Level 22 Dark Matter mode
« on: November 09, 2009, 05:38:19 PM »
I just experienced a very curious thing.

No matter what stats my seedlings and trees had a single hit would kill them. I was playing Level 22 in the Dark Matter mode.

Even very small an weak seedlings would destroy my enhanced seedlings no problem. Even trees seemed to have a single hitpoint.

Has anybody seen this kind of bug before?

It's not a bug. Remember this text when you played the level the first time around?

Quote
-SOLAR FLARE-

Take great care...
This nebula is filled with volatile plasma. Shots and explosions can do enormous damage. Even the tiniest seedling can destroy an enemy...

We have sent you two teams to compensate. Destroy all enemies before it is too late!

Good luck!

Yes, I do remember now. And I remember also that I did wonder what that was supposed to mean because I never noticed anything strange during normal gameplay. But now in the Dark Matter mode it's almost unplayable.

My mistake I guess.

Thanks for enlightening me.

Funny... I thought that was just me. I started the level the other night, but didn't finish it. I remember during testing, that level was a bitch, but the five-ten minutes I played, I didn't notice anything.

I think this calls for a quick play-through!

EDIT: Yeah... I'm definitely seeing what I'm supposed to be seeing :o
