Title: Exactly *how* are seedlings "enhanced"?
Post by: Psiborg on November 01, 2009, 01:26:19 AM
The title pretty much says it all:

1. How are seedlings enhanced?  I've seem to recall reading here somewhere that enhanced seedlings have a faster attack rate.  Is this true?  If so by how much?  Any other benefits?  It's not clear to me in what they they are better.

Also:

2. Does the flower have any effect on the target tree? - I assume they don't (ie: all flowers are created equal regardless of the source asteroid characteristics) but I'm curious.  It might be interesting if flowers retained the characteristics of their home asteroid and the benefits they confer are somehow related to this.  This might encourage planting flowers to improve weak asteroids.

Lastly, a suggestion:

3. Perhaps consider some way of showing in the asteroid tool tip panel if that planet is enhanced in some way so I can be quickly reminded of which ones are producing enhanced seedlings etc.  Maybe little pips in the corner of the tool-tip showing the number of enhanced trees?  Just a thought as you are often zoomed out when making move decisions and this is when you'd want to know that info.

Once again, best of luck with this great game.  I hope it continues to grow and evolve over time!  Cheers, -J.
