Thank you for all the feedback I've gotten and thank you for trying these levels out, I'm working on a multi stage campaign of which these two levels are going to be the start.  I've got a few more additions I want to make to the Battle of Midpoint but they're just fine tuning a couple of story elements.  I thought I'd let these out into the open to let people who have finished the game at least mess around with something new.

The Nemesis level is now pretty hard, you'll have to fall back from time to time as I've finally gotten the AI to occasionally attack in force, it also will outnumber you by quite a bit so don't be afraid to retreat, its better to save your forward fleet from destruction than try to hold onto a couple of asteroids.

As a reminder for those of you new to the game you'll have to copy these levels into the resources\maps folder of the Eufloria directory, it should then show up in the custom games folder on the main Eufloria game screen.

Again, feedback would be great!  Its hard to know how other people will see these as I've played them both about 30 times fixing bugs and balancing things.  More levels coming this week too!

Battle of Midpoint is now truly epic. So many things to do at once, enemies are agressive and attack somewhat intelligently (like when you are weakened) and the whole thing is a real pleasure to play.
It took me 3 tries to achieve it which is indeed challenging. Very good job!

There was a bit of moving back and forwards, but if you retreated every time the AI attacked there wasn't much of a problem. He's too slow at attacking the next asteroid, plus it quite greatly decreases his army's size each time he's capturing a "rested" asteroid. If he moves on and you manage to move around him, you can get the asteroid back for only a few seedlings. Also, blitzing in the beginning so you can get the asteroids for only 10 seedlings is very important.

Thanks for the levels!

Nemesis was fun :)

Battle of Midpoint was hard until I get it, that better do not touch the Midpoint, until You have large enough power to beat these besties from outerspace..

Few glitches I saw:
- I one case captured Defence tree with flower again won't reproduce the lasermine!
- the enemy lasermine from outerspace was invisible! I saw only how my spores died and sound from that mine.

And finally, after third serious attempt, the victory was easy -You just need large enough army near midpoint, and, when these besties attacks, send the army to their homeland asap.

Otherwise it was really a pleasure to play these levels - thank You!

These two maps are lack of challenge.
It's just too easy to get passed.
I've changed the second map a little, but not enough tough.
I love tough task.
Forgive my poor English.
Expecting better maps.
Thanks for so much work.

cinemabaroque, thankyou for making these.  They have helped me a lot in making levels of my own.  :>
I think that both levels are pretty good, really...  It's nice to see some scripting ^_^

I played Nemesis and it was epic!  I won in about an hour and a half, on my first try, but there were 3 separate occasions early on where I thought I had lost for sure.  The AI was extremely aggressive (compared to the campaign levels) and outnumbers most of the time which had me retreating constantly.  I only survived by constantly making laser mines and suiciding them on the enemy swarms, or sending two or three of them in right before my attack.  One of my defense trees with a flower stopped making laser mines after the 3rd or so and that was a huge blow to my forces.

Great job on the level cinemabaroque!

Excellent balanced level.  This is not just another case of surviving the beginning and accelerating to a win.  There is push and pull and moments of great loss.  This is a fun, satisfying level. Well done.

BTW, now that we have Eufloria 2.0.7 with two differend game modes, it would be really nice if comments about levels included mention of the game mode in which we’ve played the level :)
