New 2.06 patch - Testers Wanted!
« on: December 03, 2010, 09:08:05 PM »
Right, I have a beta patch for you guys/gals. Who is willing to test it?

WARNING:
This patch is BETA, and is meant to test if the switch between classic mode and new mode works well, and hasn't caused new bugs.

If you are going to try it out back up your saves. This means copying three files:

user.settings
stats.bin
achievements.bin (may not exist)
(all in Steam\steamapps\common\eufloria\Resources)

You can run the game as normal but it now has a Game Type menu option, which lets you switch between old (slow) and new (more dynamic) play styles. The latter contains all the new AI etc.

Here is the link to the beta patch in RAR and in ZIP format.
www.dyson-game.com/files/patch 2.0.rar
www.dyson-game.com/files/patch 2.0.zip

If any volunteers can test the game type toggle, check if all save data is safe, and play a variety of levels and game modes... then we can release this thing as soon as declared safe. :-)

Thanks!!

Rudolf

@Sirisak: But 2.0.7 is out already. Nevertheless I believe it can still use some good testing :)

Thanks to Bonobo. I just update the game news via board only.

But in 2.0.6 I found some bugs and I will going to test them in 2.0.7

Hope there not a bug same as I found now...
