Native OS X version?
« on: May 12, 2010, 09:15:30 PM »
Now that Valve have (are about to, at time of posting) launch Steam and eventually their entire back catalogue on OS X, will there be any efforts towards a native Eufloria version for Macs?

I bought the game last year, and love it, but having to have Windows installed is a pain. Now, thankfully, I can remove it and play my Steam games on OS X, but I would be unable to play Eufloria :(

If Eufloria relies on OpenGL then (and please forgive my near-total lack of game programming knowledge) then the process shouldn't be all that difficult? If it is, I'm sure the community here would be more than willing to help in any way they could!

Even though you, Rudolf and/or Alex, have once stated that you wouldn't want to charge anew for a Mac OS X version—should one emerge—from those who have purchased a Windows version, I will gladly and immediately shell out the same amount I paid for Eufloria/Windows again for the Mac OS X version, for the hard work you’ve done and for the lot of time I’ve enjoyed Dyson and Eufloria. Promised.
