Crash at launch, sdldotnet.core.sdlexception
« on: October 22, 2009, 09:38:23 AM »
Hey Support,
I'm getting the following error on launch:
sdldotnet.core.sdlexception

I've tried updating graphics drivers (nvidia), .NET 3.5 sp1, SDL.NET 6.1.0 from sourceforge, and all the .NET updates I could find from Microsoft. I've rebooted and tested between each change and I'm not showing any signs of progress.
I'd love to hear ideas for a fix, but I'll settle for just hearing Alex say, "We're aware of some sdl.net issues and plan to address them in a future patch".

Note to Wogan: After seeing your "You use x?" comments on the other threads, try to keep your ego in your fanny-pack for this one or just don't post at all.

Don't worry about him.

It's pretty strange, I haven't explicitly installed any SDL.NET packages and everything is ok for me.

Have you got any more detail about the exception you got? Can you post your system specs? Cheers.
