Can't play Eufloria on my TV?

I have my laptop hooked up to my Samsung 32" LCD, which I play all my games on fine. Whenever I start Eufloria though, my TV gives me a "mode not supported message", and I have to ALT+TAB out. The game runs fine on the laptop itself though, but obviously I'd rather play on a 32" screen instead of a 17" screen. Any idea as to why I can't play on my TV?

I'm surprised you actually run the game in fullscreen mode o.O
For me, it has always started in window mode automatically. When it has started that way, you can always just maximize it to use the full space of the display.

How is your TV connected to the laptop (VGA, DVI, HDMI?) and what resolution do you usually use on it? Oh, and what model exactly is the display?
