Title: Planting flower?
Post by: Sockerbit on January 25, 2010, 05:47:25 AM
I've gotten to the part of the game where you get flowers. Problem is that I can't seem to get them to do anything other than float around. How to you plant them? I've searched on the forum and didn't find anyone else with this problem, perhaps it's just me.

A button by the normal trees doesn't appear when you click on the planet it's orbiting?

When a flower grows, you must pluck it before you can use it.  To pluck the flower, left-click and drag it onto the asteroid it grew on.  Then it starts floating around the asteroid.

If you only just got flowers, you will only be able to use them on defensive trees for now.  Move the flower to an asteroid with a defensive tree on it.  When the flower arrives, selecting the asteroid will reveal a new button in the bar at the bottom.

Click that button, and the flower will plant itself next to the defensive tree.  Then a mine will start to grow.  :>

At first you can only plant them on defensive trees.
