Playing on steam

Hi.
I just bought Eufloria on Steam. Played couple of hours. Everything was ok. Then patch 2.06 came. Lost progress, but started again. Don't know why, but i couldn't win mission 5. I have conquered every asteroid and nothing happened. Thought of posting it here, but then Steam downloaded update for Eufloria. It was actually version 2.05.
I just want to know if i can play it again, without worrying, that my progress gonna disappear, or should i wait a bit?

Ah, steam updates have to be done differently, I believe. Can't remember how, though.

I also lost all my progress when 2.06 came out.

I actually lost my progress twice.
There happened two updates on Steam over two days. Or was it that it updated to 2.06 and downdated back to 2.05 the next day? I'm not sure, I didn't pay attention to the version number displayed at that time.

As for not winning mission 5 - did you remember to build defence trees?

Yah, a glitch in the steam upgrade caused havoc, but we are rectifying it all now.

Playing full V2.07 via Steam in this new mode and Level 5 doesn't end.

I have some defence trees, 3 trees on all asteroids and wiped out opposition.

Doesn't end....

What's the secret?

I have waited until 2.07, so this topic is kinda outdated.

Quatermass, as far as i can remember u must plant enough defense trees. When it's enough a message will display. Then just wipe out rest
