Title: How to update with steam?

Will the update be released through steam (it isn't there yet), or do we have to download it from here?

It'll update on Steam automatically, but this has to be done by Valve due to the way our repository was set up; we can't update it ourselves. I've emailed them :) You could patch it up yourself if you really wanted - check out the latest patch thread.

use the 2.05 update then the steam patch, but don't do it yet as it seems the 2.05 patch is crashy.

Yeah, this should be live soon though, I got an email last night about it.

Usually they are really fast and responsive but there are a couple of other bits this time ;)

Will the Steam update be the old one or the new, non-crashy one? And if it's the old one, will it overwrite the fixed one?

Also, I thought that OnMouseLeft/RightDown was already added, not coming...

There is an OnMouseLeftClicked and RightClicked that give you world coordinates yes. The new ones will fire whenever the mouse is clicked whereas the current ones only fire if you haven't selected an asteroid with that mouse click. Additionally the OnMouseUp events that are coming in the next update allow you to detect drags etc.

The Steam update will be the fixed version yes.
