Title: Update Single Player?
Post by: Mv.c9 on September 17, 2011, 04:58:06 AM
The single player was awesome, but since you have discovered new things? Like moving asteroids, cant you reshape the Single Player and add them as Part of the last chapter? or even add a whole new chapter?

I don't think this will happen, atleast not for a good while! Because as the new update will remove all the fundtions, it will be problems doing this...

speaking of which . . . when will this amazing new update arrive? with all those new seedlings and trees?

and what I really mean is that the single player gets in par with the new updates. for instance will the new trees and seedlings be in the new singleplayer?

That was a quick response!  ;D

I wonder when the update will come out. Since I lost my copy of TF2 under a pile of hats Eufloria is the only game I keep coming back to.

Wasn't TF2 released free, a couple months ago? Also, why do you need the DVD, when you got steam?

Anyway, Aino, it's not really stone age. Think of it like "OMG!! That new function is so cool! Can I get that one, too?" age... ^^

I think you misunderstood the question. He was asking if the single player campaign could be updated to feature more LUA scripted sequences to make the story "brighter" and more dynamic rather than having sitting meteors all scattered about like it has been.

That's actually his point. The "shiny Lua scripted sequences", like movable asteroids, depend on function that are implemented on the current game engine. Since the game engine will change, those functions will no longer be implemented(Making us go back to the stone age), and it will take some time for them to be restored.

Also, I am pretty sure it was said, that these functions would appear slowly after the new update, so no. It looks like, there won't be a sparkly single player...
