Bug: Level 3

In level 3, if any team captures the large base with 200 seedlings you win; i noticed this because I was playing while watching all of the AIs; the orange team bursted onto the asteroid and took it over; as soon as they did the victory text appeared, so, you know, that's just something to note

Maybe your last asteroid was taken at about the same time?

It could also be that "defeated" is being incorrectly interpreted there, but if it means "possesses zero seedlings", then it's either because you lost your last asteroid, or there's a sizeable bug in the parser, lol.

I think you misread that, wogan, lol. I think the game is doing exactly what it is supposed to, but we are interpreting "defeated" differently than the program.

Wogan, I had at least half of the field taken and was on the verge of taking over one of my opponents' last asteroids when this happened; in fact, I was the dominant species at the time.

So, you know, I wasn't losing in any manner, and, no, this happened as soon as the large asteroid changed color, like, exactly

I experienced this bug too on the new 1.20 version.
  I was on level three expanding to the right and down when I see a 200 seedlings pink planet, I surrounded it with my asteroids but then one of them was conquered by an orange force, then I decided to go all in on the pink planet but so did the oranges so I backed away letting them fight it out.
  The planet was conquered by the orange force (with 100 seedlings to spare) and I went for a counter attack however by that time a congratulations message appeared, however I wasn't the one in control of the planet.
