Because on my galaxy s3 ist slow too, and since its possible to play games like gta 3 on this device this game should work good too, i think :D

Few things for you:

An update is due to go live later today (we hope) which improves the frame rate a little. Keep running the humble bundle app to check for updates.

Select Low level of Detail and Low Graphics Quality. It will make little difference visually but can help frame rate a lot. Note that there may be a bug on the existing version where that data doesn't load back in correctly unless you return to the options screen (the bug was definitely present originally). This is the new normal setting for Android devices.

We discovered yesterday that often it feels like a bad frame rate but is actually an input bug (next on the list to be fixed). Can you try this and post again:

- Load Arena Level 7 (you can unlock arenas from options-unlock)
- Touch your asteroid and move your finger away from it so you see the targeting arrow
- Move your finger around your home asteroid
- Is the arrow movement jerky but are the seedlings on the scene moving smoothly? If so, it's an input issue not a frame rate issue. You get the same problem when panning or zooming.

If you do the same on iOS, Playbook, PC et al - the arrow movement is completely smooth.

As an aside, even the most recent Android devices simply can't do the overdraw that iOS devices are capable off. Eufloria isn't a 3d game, it's a 2d one, and it includes lots of what we call alpha - that's translucency to most people. This requires a large amount of overdraw where as a typical 3d game does not.

Mobile hardware is very bad at dealing with this. Android devices tend to be like the iPad 1 or worse, but some are also a higher resolution which worsens the problem.

It's been very surprising to see how good Apple hardware really is compared to the competition.
