Title: Stuck on Level 6 - New Demo

How the hell do you get past Level 6? I only have 1 tree with 4 defense on my first asteroid. All the other asteroids are full of defense trees and I can't colonize anything decent..
Am I meant to wait like 3 hours till I get 100 seeds to attack or something? lol

Please help!

Asteroid directly to your left and asteroid directly to your right do not have defence trees on them.

The point of the level is to colonize both these asteroids - they have high speed attribute and can fly through asteroids full of defence trees relatively unscratched.
There are more empty asteroids to your left, just look for them.

Obviously, you can try to conquer defence asteroids as well, but it'll mean heavy losses without much gain - 1 dyson tree and 4 defence will be on them.

Best to just use one dyson to explore, since there are plenty around. Find the uncolonized, then send over a bucket-load (without hitting the defense planets) to grow 5 dyson trees. You won't need to plant defense trees at all on this map. Once you find your hidden seedlings on the other side of the map, you can use them to grow 5 dyson trees and replicate quickly. Then take out the satellite asteroids (that have defense trees all over), keep moving your dyson all onto one location to gather an army (speedy ones here are actually really good against the defense drones en masse of about... 70), then take out the planet that's holding the actual enemies.

I think there may be a long time delay before the enemy starts sending their seeds to attack your base, so conquer the satellites for safety first. Sure it takes a while but if you know how to "collect" a large amount of seeds, it'll be a cakewalk. That means planting all the dyson trees at one time for faster replication results, and a defense tree either before them or after.

I played this one all the way through, taking everything. But the enemy never attacked.  I even hit the enemy planet and they never attacked, not until I owned everything else and then I went back and was able to attack them.

I'm guessing this is a bug?

I still had fun though killing trees.
