I was just wondering whether this would be a good mod to have installed as then people could keep all of their levels, etc. in one place - sort of like a portfolio. I still think release threads are a good idea, but some of the older levels can be buried by the new ones as the threads start to die.
Or not, whatever.

I like the idea of some kind of solution for user levels. Does this let people upload files other than pictures/video links for their profile media?

No idea. I'll have a look, I know of a forum that uses it.

Random fact: I started that forum - then bottled out when the first troll hit. SG and EvilHamster took it on from there. I don't know what EvilHamster calls himself now, but he dropped out of admining, too.
EDIT: I think you can, but you may have to attach the level to a post, too. If you then rightclick on the attachment link and "copy link location" or similar, you can then use that copied link as a direct download link. It all stays within the boards.
I guess you could use a file uploader elsewhere, then post the download link, but then there's the whole taking-it-down-unexpectedly thing.

Any advance on this anyone? Yes it does (sort of) allow other media than videos, as detailed in the post above.
Attach to a post in a release thread.
Copy the link to the download.
Use that as the link in your profile.
