Not sure if related to http://www.dyson-game.com/smf/index.php?topic=500.0 (http://www.dyson-game.com/smf/index.php?topic=500.0), but I was just about to capture enemy asteroid, so I decided to move my laser mine down to another enemy asteroid so I wouldn't have to wait too long, and the moment I released the mouse button, it crashed.
Also to possibly note is that the mouse release was very close to the "menu bar" in the game, not sure if that may be related.
I have had it happen to me a couple of times now. First time I didn't really care, I was getting obliterated :P Frustrating though when you've just managed to turn the tide in battle :(

Thanks for the report... there was a problem with selection and the menu bar, I guess there are still problems after the fix I made though. I'll check it out.

dunno if it's related, but every time I try to move a laser mine from my home asteroid to the home asteroid of the greys in Level 17 Dark Matter Mode my game crashes (it crashes always in that level DMM, but that is the one crash I can reproduce)

I have the same problem.
Yes, I updated my video card. XP, Intel MoBo, Intel P4 2.4 CPU, Nvidia GeForce 7800 GS
When more than one Laser Mine is on an asteriod AND I move one, AND then attempt to move second Laser Mine, it often (but not always) crashes.
-
I got an error too in DMM 11 right when moving an flower/mine to another asteroid. I got the "Eufloria has stopped working error" twice when moving them. :(

Try applying the latest patch and see if this fixes the issue.

Confirmation with DMM 11
No more problems when moving the mines/flowers to other asteroids. Bug fixed. ;) Thank You :D
But, a new bug with DMM 11. Link: http://www.dyson-game.com/smf/index.php?topic=754.0
