Not sure if this is related to this previous post http://www.dyson-game.com/smf/index.php?topic=451.0
Sometimes when I play in full screen, the mousewheel zoom does not do anything. Keyboard zoom still works.
Restarting Eufloria might or might not fix the mousewheel zoom.
The mousewheel always works in windowed mode.
I am running the Steam version on Windows XP SP3, with an 8800GT, Razer Death Adder mouse.

Now this I've never heard of. I'll have to do some digging. Thanks for the report!

Thanks, I'll prod from my side to see if I can discover more of a pattern.

I do handle the mouse wheel in a different way to the other buttons, but the bad news is that the reason I do that is because it doesn't work at all otherwise. Here's some stuff I wrote on it (http://cs-sdl.sourceforge.net/forum/viewtopic.php?t=1516&highlight=mouse+wheel) a while back. Wonder if something about fullscreen mode is affecting the SDL mouse events...

Dang, and I had intended to express my wish that the mouse wheel would be enabled in those custom levels menus :(
-
There's no problem with that notion.

Cool :)

Aha, I believe I have found the culprit. I am running a little utility called KatMouse. When disabled, the mousewheel functions as expected. I have now configured it to ignore the Eufloria application.
However, I have grown used to using the R/F zoom keys and using the mousewheel now feels odd. ;D

Ah, great news, good to hear.
Katmouse sounds great - so often I move the scroll wheel wanting the thing under the cursor to move.
