AI improvement

I'm new the forums and pretty sure this topic has been done to death, but I couldn't find any using the search concerning this...
At least, to the unedited levels...

The AI in Eufloria I've seen is often "dumb," that is, it doesn't seem to differentiate between a smaller tree that is BRIGHT red and about to be destroyed versus that massive elder tree that's not even damaged.

Naturally the smart choice would be to attack the smaller tree, and so all seedlings should concentrate upon that tree.

That's probably my biggest concern with the game mechanics, since both the enemies and your own "troops" don't know the difference between trees.
I mean, you could pull the whole "they're just seedlings" card and say they're not smart enough... yet they're capable of killing enemies and not killing each other. I think that is justification enough.

I love the game, and don't seek to bash the creators of this excellent release, but you know, just me wanting to see something ... better. Sure, I'll leave it at that.

EDIT:

There's also one thing I'd love to suggest... a command similar to the classic "to select multiple units...."
I was thinking along the lines of control + click, select the seedlings from multiple asteroids, and send them all to one place.
Sure keeps me from wearing out the pads on my mouse... and keeps me from developing carpal tunnel again...

There is one problem that arises from that, which is the "auto-waypoint" system that happens when you take one asteroid's seedlings and drag them to one or more away.

Hey,

a similar question has been asked before and Alex answered it something like this:
Attacking seedlings will spread evenly to attack all trees on an asteroid. The point is that with more trees on an asteroid, it gets much harder to conquer it (= you need more seedlings).

So, that behaviour is quite deliberate.

Hi
I'm not agree with this analysis
For me it's a strategy game, and we have to find all breaks... and a small tree is a break

We not add an option "Focus this tree", many seedlings will focus it but not all, I think it's a good compromise
