Hi!
I have trouble to update to the latest Android version of Eufloria on my Galaxy S3.
I always get Error: RPC:S-5:AEC-0.
I tried a couple of things Clear data in Google Play Store, Clear cache in Google Play Store, removed/added my Google account, restart the phone.
Nothing helps.
All other apps paid or non-paid update just fine.
What is wrong here?
-
Apparently you need to Clear the cache in Google Services Framework
I don't have a device here as I'm travelling but please let me know 1) if this works and 2) where to find this option so other people know.
Apportable handle our Android version and something about the recent update has caused a problem with the store - they're still looking into why.
-
I couldn't delete the cache. The only thing I could do was Clear data.
But it didn't helped.
-
I'll get back to you as soon as we're told what on earth is going on :(
As I understand it, it's a store issue but I don't know whether Google need to fix it or if Apportable need to do something with the build.
-
Go to System Settings.
Click Apps.
Select the "All Apps" tab by swiping right to left a few times.
Click the "Google Services Framework" app.
Click "Clear data".
Click "OK".
ONLY IF THIS DOES NOT WORK:
Optionally do the previous three steps for "Google Play" and "Google Play Services".
Try updating Eufloria again.
Please let me know if this works.
-
I've deleted all three. But now I have no Apps or Games in My Apps. Everything gone. :-\
EDIT: I had to delete/add my Google account. Now I have all my Apps and Games back but also the error message with Eufloria.
-
Aaargh! Am glad you got everything back. Chasing this up like crazy...

If you PM me I'll give you a free copy of the bitcoin bundle.

A new build will be uploaded shortly which fixes the save bug.
We hope that just uploading a new build fixes the store issue. Basically, it's a problem in the store and not the app so we can't do anything at all about it which is very frustrating. The problem was reported to Google by others a month ago but is yet to be fixed.
Various solutions have been offered here but none are exactly friendly:

Solution - if someone can confirm this that'd be amazing.
Settings > Personal > Accounts & sync> Touch the account to delete> Remove account
- Reboot your device
- Settings > Personal > Accounts & sync > Add account
Please note that removing your Google account will not delete all of the information associated with it, since your content and settings are saved in the cloud. If you cannot remove your Google account via the Settings menu, please try removing it and re-adding it via the Settings > Accounts in the Google Play Store app (and please reboot your device in between). Thank you for your patience and for helping us resolve this issue!

Nope!
No luck. Still the same error.
-
We have a fix that someone confirmed worked! Google are now trying to fix the issue on their store as well.
- Launch your mobile browser
- Head over to play.google.com/store/apps/details?id=com.omnilabs.eufloria and make sure you're logged into your Google account
- Tap the Update button
-
It works again. :))
It seems they fixed the store.
Thank you very much for your support.
