Title: Crash on level finish
Post by: raziel on July 30, 2010, 09:54:16 AM: its happened to me 3 times now. I finish a level and instead of taking me to the menu it freezes (screen stays bright white) and then I press enter and it crashes to the desktop. If I alt-tab i see its a error msg with the eufloria app. didnt take a look at the details. I can post them here on my next crash if you would like.
Im on Windows 7 32bit, laptop but the video card driver is up to date.

Post by: raziel on July 30, 2010, 08:20:36 PM: Well bad news! it just happened and not just on level ending normally. I went to MENU QUIT for the 4th time (haveing trouble on the One Hundred map) and same thing.

PS: I dont know if this might be it, but this laptop has an nvidia card, and it is updated but from windows update... should I try and get an updated version? This one was installed like 3 weeks ago or less.

Version: 8.16.11.8766: It does say the date is 03-10-09... but It cant be! Will look into this and return to you. Cause this could be my fault! Just saw a fresh driver compatible with my 8400M GS on the nvidia webpage gonna try it. Also before this crash turned off NOD32 to rule out crazy anti-virus scan-on-exectution or read problem.

Well I did have old drivers! What the hell did Windows Uodate updated? SOrry for any trouble!

Post by: Alex on July 30, 2010, 09:40:36 PM: People are still getting crashes and a null reference exception sounds more like a game crash than a graphics / driver crash. So I bet there are still some errors in there that are causing this that I need to fix.

Anyway, this definitely looks like what I encountered after installing—and starting the campagin—anew. Crashing after EVERY level.

My suspicion was that Eufloria was not able to write stats/prefs, since also my prefs were set back to factory defaults. I copied both to that other folder (sorry, right now no access to my Windows, but probably later in the day) and then everything worked fine except for the achievements. Guess I need an empty achievements file to copy into that same folder ...

Ok thanks. If I can help in any other way just let me know.
Will test in the evening or tomorrow if the problem still occurs with the new driver.
