Fancy Backgrounds!

Ok, starting this topic

I am going to build a series of cool background features Eufloria might enjoy, I'll add them here as I get done.

BUT: Even though I release them here doesn't mean they are done. They don't care about asteroids yet, I am waiting for a feature for that(if it will be added)

If you want to know about the versions:

0.1 means not done witht the main features or need some fixing.

From 0.1 to 0.9 means it's a version better than the one before.

0.9 means that it jsut need the DrawBehindAsteroid function to work.

And 1.0 means it's done.

Higher means it has more features.

Released for now:
Black Hole 0.1 Bugs: Strange gravity
Black Hole 3 0.1 Bugs: None.
Nebula 0.1 Bugs: Haven't found any yet, need some work...

Said I released the black hole 3, but I didn't xD Now it is here...

Nice! Gonna get around it I think I know how too, would it be cool if it moved slowly across the screen, like a night sky?

Probably more likely to be static if we're talking imitating reality. The real answer is whatever you like most, though

Gonna redo the black hole, trying to make it fully 3d, so when you turn around, the dots turn around with you, don't know yet... Atleast I'll redo it and make the dots seem to appear from everywhere

Developement seems to be goign good, though I haven't got to test it yet >.<

it won't include any 3D in the next version, I imagined a ball and inside the dots is, in the midle is the black hole... According to math, it would be a box I belive... though pi can change that I think

Okay, released a new version of the black hole. It has a Z axis for the dots and they can either fly infront of the black hole or behind because of the z axis... Try it, it's kinda cool IMO

I do, and did long time ago... When I first started this... I hate math at school, it suckes so hard :/

Planning on making some kind of 3D viewer now... So when you look around on the map, a box rotates...

Good stuff aino, and all you other modders too. As you know Alex and I are hammering out the psn version, which leaves little time to enjoy this forum and it's members the way we would like. Rest assured though that we do lurk, and it is really heart warming to see all this activity.
