Game crashed, 2nd time with same error

i was just about to finish level 16 when my game crashed, I did however manage to take a screenshot before it closed.  I am not sure if it will help, but it does include the error.

(I'm pretty sure this pop-up only came up because I have visual studios 2003, in case someone tries to replicate the scenario.)

EDIT:  I really enjoy this game, but with the crashes I've had at a far point through a level really takes away from how much one can enjoy the game because while levels are fun to replay, they're a lot more fun to actully finish.

Level 16, ok, thanks. Can you remember what exactly you were doing at the time?

I was sending two laser mines from one asteroid to an enemy asteroid.  The game froze right after I let go of the mouse to send the second mine over.

It happened again!  At the worst possible time!I just beat level 23 Collison Course and as soon as I hit the ok button at the end of the level after I had beaten it, it crashed!   Here's the pic for proof.  D:

Since you have no error message at all and you cant even get into the game, you should open a new thread (but before that, use the search function to look for a scenario thats more like yours).

Also, theres no attachment with your post. You probly missed clicking the Upload button (which you have to do, submitting the post wont upload the file)

This happens to me too.  Always very close to the end of the level, but there doesn't seem to be anything in particular that triggers it.  It's happened a couple of times, usually on very hard levels that take a long time to finish.  It happened on The Center Cannot Hold when I was about halfway through taking the last Gray asteroid!  There may or may not have been multiple laser mines involved in this conflict too.  I was sending everything at it, 500+ seedlings, awaiting a glorious finish within a minute, then error message and game over.  EXTREMELY disappointing and rather frustrating.

I actully haven't had this happen to me since v. 2.01 was released.
