Title: freeze on lvl 22

hello ppl,

anithing is updated an so on, butthe games freezes after 2 seconds on lvl 22 "sunstorm"

Hi,

Sorry to hear you're having problems.  :/

Have you tried updating your graphics card drivers to the latest version?  This proves to be the problem in about 30% of cases so it's definitely worth trying.

If you've tried that and it's still not working, the next thing to try would be uninstalling and reinstalling the game.  You may also wish to try downloading the latest patch: http://www.dyson-game.com/files/PatchEufloria.exe

If that still doesn't work, could you please post the technical specifications of your computer and we'll be able to investigate from there.  :>

Sounds like there are some new freeze bugs.

As I posted in the other thread: I'm right up against it at the moment but I will try to offer some semblence of support in the next week. Sorry :(

Yes you would lose your savegames from uninstalling, although you can just unlock them again from the Options menu.

If you really don't want to lose your savegames and don't like the idea of simply unlocking them again, it's also possible to back them up along with your user preferences.  There's a file in the Eufloria\Resources\ folder called "user.settings".  Make a backup of this file before you uninstall the game.  Then, after you reinstall, copy the backed up user.settings to its original location in the Resources folder before you run Eufloria.

i reinstalled th game. its version 2.05. now it works. shall i install the patches again?

oh, and i hadnt to backup the files because they werent erased.

Yes I would suggest you install the latest patch, as v2.05 has a bug with mines that can cause a crash occasionally.

Plus, updating to the latest version means you will be able to play all the new custom maps that have been written with 2.07 in mind!

Plus, with 2.07 you can use two game modes: The old mode (which I’d call “classic”) and a new, more aggressive and faster mode, though it seems to me that at least one level (was it 17 or 18?) might not (or hardly) be winnable in the new mode.

umm...  :-\ with 2.07 it crashes again. i think there is something wrong with the patch...

Can you try uninstalling and reinstalling the Microsoft .NET 2.0 Framework?  That has helped others in the past, maybe it will solve your problem too.  :>

I've no clue.  Since it didn't work, I'd suggest trying a full uninstall and then reinstall it from scratch, just to be sure.

The reason why I think it might be this is that it fixed a very similar problem for someone else in this thread (http://www.dyson-game.com/smf/index.php?topic=1201.0).  It could be something totally different though, who knows.

I have this problem on last level 25 - game freeze after I choose a level and start to play. Also I didn`t have any problem with game earlier - problem has ben started today (I play about 2 days ago and it was fine - game was patched to 2.07) I have a normal version of game patched to 2.07 Also i noticed there is not a sound while a click a play button in menu (from b009_PlayStoryMode.ogg file in resource folder). I try everything with reinstalling directx, MS C++, Net Framework 4.0, also I delete game and installing again (accidentaly delete my user.setting file and lost all my progres...:(  - someone have this save eventualy? I don`t want use a cheat by unlocking in unlock button - archivement are less important) and the same problem. I have a HP NC6000 with windows XP SP3.

PS sorry to my english - I`m from Poland.
